Very friendly and cosy

Christine S, Bern, Switzerland
John came picking us up at the end point of our days hike and drove us back the next day. The house is very cosy and homely, John and Angela are superfriendly and we couldn't have asked for more. We would go back there anytime!

Warm and friendly welcome at a brilliant B and B

Ron G, Stowmarket, United Kingdom
The warmth of the welcome, after a long journey was great. John was so helpful, and friendly, he even took the trouble to show my brother in law and myself the way to the golf tournament we would attend the next day, his advice on where to eat was spot on. A hearty breakfast set us up for the day. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, roomy and the comfort of guests was obviously high on the hosts priorities. I will have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Very friendly welcome

Tim C, Dorset, United Kingdom
We stayed here whilst walking Hadrians Wall. On arrival we were made vey welcome, and even our cases which had been delivered earlier had been taken to our rooms. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. We took the advice of David and got him to book us a table at the nearby Black Bull pub for dinner. Great meal at a very reasonable price. Back to Wormald House where we had a great nights sleep and enjoyed a delicious hearty breakfast before John dropped us back onto Hadrians Wall to continue our walk. Great place to stay, highly recommended!

Brilliant B & B

peebee53, Fleetwood, United Kingdom
Ideal place to stay for walking Hadrian's Wall or just visiting the area. Three of us stayed last week, and were knocked out by the friendly welcome, help and advice, and mega breakfast. Comfortable, welcoming, and great value. What more could you ask for?

Solid Overnight Stop.

HBSponger, Huntington Beach
Seems pretty much every one here stays on their first night of the Hadrian Walls walk. It was a long day. I had emailed David the night before and told him of our plan to visit the museum in Newcastle and our probable later arrival. He was prepared. He booked us a late arrival for dinner at the local pub. The food was fine and the beer good and local. After a shower on return I was out. As it was a bit warm, I remember sleeping with the window open and not really being bothered by traffic. Breakfast prepared by David and his father was great and both are charming gentlemen. Recommended.
