A weekend treat!

simonandjulia2017, Northallerton, United Kingdom
We have just stayed for two nights at the Post Office House B&B. Claire and Simon were the nicest hosts and clearly work hard to make every stay a memorable one. The rooms are tastefully and sumptuously furnished with lovely little touches such as a small last of local Lindisfarne Mead and home baked parkin cake. Simon cooked a beautiful breakfast each morning and Claire ensured every detail was catered for, from home made jams to gorgeous napkin holders. Cannot wait to stay again.

Pure quality

FF05,
We decided upon the Post Office due to its rating of 4 from AA and it's location. The hosts Claire and Simon were the nicest of people and so friendly and helpful. It was a celebratory weekend for us and this was noted by the hosts with prossecco and a card which was so unexpected but so lovely .The room was top class, parking off road with a quaint little garden to sit in and the breakfast delicious. Simons homemade beans are worth travelling for so make sure you have those. We loved our weekend here and whole heartedly recommend 👍⭐️🏆

Post Office House Bed & Breakfast replied: What a lovely review, FF05 and thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive one and appreciate your feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and for choosing Post Office House to celebrate your special occasion. We love to give surprises for our guests 🙂 Simon's beans are receiving many complimentary comments, we hope you enjoy making them. It was a pleasure to meet you both and also thank you for the great recommendation. Hope to see you both again in the future. With best wishes Claire and Simon

Lovely trip!

Hannah1791, Manchester, United Kingdom
Just arrived back from a lovely 2 night stay at the Post Office B&B, couldn't recommend this place enough. Claire was a lovely host, full of knowledge and was happy to help in any way. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of choice and it definitely filled us up for a good part of the day! We stayed in the 'Berwick' room which was lovely and clean, full equipped with coffee maker, hair dryer etc. It had lots of attention to detail which made our stay home from home. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Claire & Simon 😀

Post Office House Bed & Breakfast replied: You are very welcome, Hck_91, and so pleased you both had a lovely stay with us. Thank you for your feedback and great compliments about our breakfasts and of course, your whole experience at Post Office House - also for the recommendation! We have had a number of guests saying exactly what you did - that breakfast filled them up and didn't need anything (or little else) until supper! If you find yourselves wishing to make another visit to Northumberland, do get in touch :) There's so many places to see and explore. With best wishes Claire and Simon

Service at its best

Aidan O,
Claire and Simon run a treasure of a guest house . We selected the location for its proximity to Lindisfarne (or Holy Island ) and were treated to a warm welcome. Our room was tastefully refurbished and there was amazing attention to detail . Everything was spotless and the breakfast just amazing. 5stars from us

Post Office House Bed & Breakfast replied: Thank you, Aidan for your 5 star review. We are delighted you both had a lovely stay with us, although only very brief! It was a pleasure to meet you both, we enjoyed our evening with you and hope you will return for a longer visit, there is so much to see in Northumberland. With best wishes Claire and Simon
