Market Cross Guest House is a large Grade II listed Georgian house and the only 5-Star B&B in Belford.

We have four beautifully decorated and furnished rooms, 3 doubles and 1 twin all with ensuite bathrooms. Our double rooms all have king size beds and 2 single beds in the twin. Our rooms are appointed to a very high standard with crisp white cotton bedding, Nespresso machines and DAB radios.
There is a wide selection of quality teas and the hot drinks available and we provide locally sourced bottled spring water. There are also homemade treats every day to enjoy on your return from exploring. Each room has a large screen (32'-49') Smart TV. These have Netflix and Amazon which can be used with your own account if you just want to relax in your room in the evening.
Our bathrooms all have walk-in showers and the Blue room also has a large free standing roll top bath in which to soak at the end of your busy day. We only use extra large fluffy bath sheets and our toiletries are by White Company.
Our breakfasts are made from the finest, locally sourced ingredients and cooked to order to your preference. We have a varied menu to suit every taste from a Northumbrian full breakfast to a fruit smoothy with fruit toast. Our philosophy is that home made is best and so our bread, preserves, cakes, granola, biscuits and even baked beans are made by us.
We do of course cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and celiacs and this is of course at no extra charge. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies we do ask that you contact us so that we can better meet your needs. Located within 2 minutes off the A1, while still being in a quiet location we are within striking distance of all the main attractions of the area. Bamburgh Castle and beach, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick with it's castle and gardens are within 20 minutes. The stunning beaches which are never full are no more the same short drive away as well. Inland we have the lovely villages of Ford and Etal, the working mill at Heatherslaw, the battlefield of Flodden and the glorious Cheviot Hills.
