Harbour Lights, situated in the centre of the delightful fishing village of Craster, offers a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation with wonderful views of the coast and Dunstanburgh Castle.
Our bedrooms, one double and one twin, are furnished to a high standard and include flat-screen TVs with DVD/CD players and Freeview. Both rooms have modern en suites equipped with nature friendly bathroom products and fluffy Egyptian cotton towels. There is private parking for guests.
Breakfast, served in our dining room overlooking the harbour, offers a good choice using local produce, including the world famous Craster kippers. Our ‘local’, the Jolly Fisherman and the Craster Fish Restaurant - (open Easter to end October), set in the old kipper sheds, serve delicious lunches and evening meals.
Harbour Lights offers the ideal location for visitors wishing to enjoy this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A network of local footpaths provide enjoyable walks inland and along the coast, including the walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, regarded as one of the best coastal walks in the country. There is much to interest walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, artists, photographers, anglers and golfers; fishing trips leave from the harbour and there are several superb golf courses nearby.
Craster provides an excellent base for visitors to Northumberland, with Alnwick Castle and Garden, Howick Garden, Alnmouth, Seahouses and Bamburgh all close at hand.
