We offer informal, relaxed hospitality of the highest standards in our family-run bed and breakfast. Our delightful Grade II listed Georgian town house was once the family home of Lord Dacre (the historian Hugh Trevor-Roper) and retains many original features including window seats, shutters, an unusual cast iron fireplace in the dining room and, of course, beautifully proportioned rooms. Our refurbished bedrooms are comfortable and restful whether for single people, couples or families.

The lounge has a splendid selection of local literature, games and an impressive library for guests to enjoy during their stay. With our private car park which abuts the Alnwick Garden, it is an easy walk to visit the Garden, castle, town, restaurants and shops. Alnwick is an ideal centre for visiting or touring many of Northumberland's natural and historical treasures. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
